Wilks house is within easy reach of Earlville shopping centre and is only a 5 minute drive to the city centre.

Additional information
Cairns beaches are all to the north of the city - the nearest about 15 minutes and the furthest at Palm Cove about 30 minutes. However, right next to the city centre on the Esplanade is the wonderful Cairns Lagoon. A huge saltwater pool with life guards on duty and a shallow section for small children, the lagoon looks out over Trinity Bay and is close to shops and restaurants. Entry to the lagoon is free of charge and the Cairns City Council also provide free exercise classes, yoga classes, volleyball and a skate park on the Esplanade. Birdwatching is a popular pastime on the boardwalk. The Botanical Gardens at Edge Hill are well worth a visit and for the energetic there is the Blue and Red arrow walks up the Whitfield ranges.
