Small Hope Bay Lodge is an ALL INCLUSIVE resort situated on Andros Island just a short boat ride from the world's third largest coral reef, the diving is nothing less than spectacular. But what really sets Small Hope apart is its unique heritage, its simple and friendly ambience, and something from the soul that simply cannot be cloned or imitated. Small Hope is the perfect place for rest, relaxation, rediscovery, and romance.
Small Hope has 21 rooms in cottages right on one of their two beaches. All rooms are decorated in Androsia Batik Fabrics and locally made art and furniture. Their all-inclusive means that your beachfront cottage accommodations, all meals (great food), drinks (open bar), evening conch fritter hors d'oeuvres, Discover Scuba or snorkeling lesson, kayaks, bikes, windsurfers, nature trails, Escape sailboat, hot tub on the beach, and all hotel taxes are included in your rate. For those of you on the dive package you also get 3 dives per day plus weights, tanks, and belt (if you are staying at least 7 nights, you get a free night dive). You can also be on the "vacationer" package and pay for your dives, snorkel trips, or fishing a la carte.
All meals and evening hors d'oeuvres are included in your all inclusive rate. Breakfast is in our main dining room and you may choose from a continental breakfast or order from the kitchen. Breakfast choices include pancakes, omelets, eggs, bacon, french toast, Bahamian breakfast, etc. Lunch is a buffet affair served outside on our beachfront patio or in the main dining room depending on the weather. There will be a Bahamian style hot dish, cold cut sandwich bar, several salads, and at least 2 desserts.
Dinner is generally served buffet style either on our outside beachfront patio or inside the main dining room. There are 2 hot dishes, 1 fish (grouper, snapper, mahi mahi, etc.), 1 meat dish (steak, cornish hen, turkey, chicken, pork chops, lamb, etc.), 2 side dishes, several salads, and at least 3 desserts. We can easily accommodate vegetarians, but it is best if you let us know your requirements ahead of time. We have Bahamian night once a week and generally serve from the kitchen on Steak and Lobster night.
COMPLIMENTARY BABYSITTING nightly from 6-9 pm for kids 2-7 yrs old. Children under 2 years, nominal fee applies.

Additional information
The Androsia Batik Factory is located 3 miles south of Small Hope Bay Lodge. Androsia opened in 1973 the same year as Bahamian Independence from England and is considered the "Fabric of the Bahamas". Self-guided tours of the factory are available between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday. The factory Outlet Store is open Monday - Saturday. Small Hope Bay Lodge can arrange batik demos where you get a complete tour and can make your own batik to take home with you.
Captain Bill's Blue Hole is 5 miles north of Small Hope and is a great spot for a swim. Native orchids line the trail to the blue hole.
