Property description
The bright and fun Sled Hill Lodge has, you guessed it, its own semi-private sled hill. Nothing fancy but behind the lodge there is a nice rise with just the right elevation to easily walk up and shoosh down. There is no automated lift and - good news - no ticket booth. It’s a fun great place to spend time.
The house itself is a bright clean comfy house with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and all kinds of creative features. Modern paint and colors. Lots of windows and room for the entire family. Television of course, and a full kitchen and a wood burning stove. There is room for 10 people to sleep so that means you can bring the entire family including the little sledders too.
Oh and did we mention it has a private outdoor hot tub? Nothing better than a bubbling spa after you've been slipping and sliding down the hill or after a day or night in the village admiring all the Bavarian shops and activities. And not a bad place to spend time in spring, summer and fall too.
Located just a few miles outside the village, there is parking and peace and quiet. You can get into town fast for Oktoberfest, Christmas Lighting, summer dinner at any of a two dozen continental restaurants or to spend a not in the Bier Hall as they say in Bavarian. And you can get home just as fast. You'll love it here.
