Welcome to Ca'Nicassio ,nestled in the hills above the town of Cantiano in The Marche region of Italy.
Ca'Nicassio offers three lovely bedrooms, each with a splendid view of the Serre di Burano mountan range. Guests may enjoy the outdoor terrace and the enchanting garden area during their visit. Ours is a lovely spot to relax and savor the cool mountain breezes after a day spent exploring the unspoiled Italian countryside or participating in the many activities available in The Marche.
The guest rooms at Ca'Nicassio are named for the mountains surrounding the area.: Monte Nerone, Monte Catria, and the mountain on which it is located, Monte Petrano. Each room embraces an outstanding view of the Serre di Burano mountain range, is decorated comfortably with traditional furnishings, and has its own sink ,mirror, and bath amenities.

The Marche is a region that abounds in natural beauty and cultural and historic value. It is bordered on the east by the Adriatic sea, on the north by Emiglia-Romana, on the south by Abruzzo, and on the west by Tuscany and Umbria. From the breathtaking views of the Appennini Mountains , the quaint medieval towns, the fabulous Frasassi Caves and the historic cities of Urbino and Gubbio, The Marche has everything that Italy has to offer without crowds of tourists or the hectic pace of larger cities.. Borgo Palcano is nestled high near the top of Monte Petrano. Our bed and breakfast offers you a chance to unwind and enjoy the serenity of rural Italian life. There are numerous independent hiking trails and escorted excursions which can be obtained in nearby Cagli.
.The closest village ( 5 min. by car) is Cantiano, which has its roots in ancient Roman history. It is through this area that the rulers of Rome built the Via Flaminia which linked the Eternal City to its eastern shores through the Furlo Gorge. Nature has been generous with this area, bestowing it with Monte Catria, ,Monte Acuto, Monte Tenetra, Monte Nerone and Monte Petrano, where our little B&B is located. Trekking through these areas is truly an incomparable
experience. The Tecchie Forest was declared a natural park in 1986 and here you can find exceptional flora, fauna and plant species. Horse back riding and mountain biking are other favorite pastimes in the region...
