The villa is set in a Pine-Wood on top of a small hill in 5000 sq.m. of beautiful gardens from where there are lovely views over the medieval town of Camaiore, the Camaiore valley and the Apuan Alps.
It was built at the start of the 20th century by Ermete Zacconi, who, along with Eleonora Duse, was one of the principal actors on the Italian stage around the turn of the century.

The villa is on three floors totalling 500 sq.m.
On the ground floor there is a spacious hall which leads to a large lounge with fireplace,table games and satellite tv for the exclusive use of the guests. Also on this floor there is the dining area which offers a vast view on to the garden through the conservatory.
On the first floor is the Signora’s bedroom, two double bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms, a twin room with en suite bathroom and a double and single bedroom with private bathrooms.
At the very top of the house there is a small tower, distinctive of buildings constructed at that time, where there is a terrace for sunbathing and for enjoying a 360° view of the beautiful scenary.
