Tolo beach
Property description
A spacious airy apartment for four close to the sandy beach in Tolo.
The apartment is in a quiet development and offers use of the large pool.
The apartment is open plan, with two single beds in the living area, and another two on a mezzanine floor over the kitchen, which offers basic cooking facilities.
Each sleeping area has its own external space where you can sit and pass the time of day.
The apartment is away from the road and so is quiet and safe for childre, but is still close to shops, tavernas and of course the beach.
You won't need a car in Tolo - everything is within walking distance - although it may be useful for sightseeing.
Tolo is a fairly quiet resort which has not been overdeveloped, and which still retains a 'real' Greek atmosphere.
You'll find traditional wooden fishing boats bobbing in the harbour, and some great low key traditional tavernas, as well as others that cater for tourists.
The beach is one of the best in the area, and holds an EU. blue flag for cleanliness. It is sandy and shallow for a good way out. There is a watersports center and you can go waterskiing, sailing, hire a pedaloe and explore the island in the bay, or just relax on a lounger with a cool drink!!
If you can drag yourself away from the pool and the beach there's plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Nearby Nafplio is a chic cosmopolitan center with good shops and cafes, and plenty of historical interest. The mainly pedestrian old town is really charming.
Some of the best known archaeological sites in Greece are just a short drive away - Mycenae, Tiryns, the ancient theatre at Epidavros etc.

Rates details: A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking, payable via PayPal. The balance is due one month before your arrival, by bank transfer.
Airconditioning is an extra and is charged at 6 euros per day for the smaller apartment, 10 euros per day for the larger.
Additional information
Once a traditional fishing village, the stunning views and clear waters at Tolo have made it a popular holiday destination.
The town has grown to the point where it offers all you'll need on holiday, but still retains its charm.
Traditional tavernas, lively bars, quiet cafes from which to watch the world go by, and the waves lapping against the shore...
At one end of the town are the ruins of Ancient Asini with its Mycenaean wells and great views of Tolo.
In the summer months cruises depart from the harbour to the nearby islands of Hydra and Spetses.
You won't need a car while you are here, although of course it will be useful for sightseeing.
If you can bring yourself to leave Tolo and that wonderful beach there's lots to see and do in the area.
There are some of the best preserved archaeological sites in Greece just a shaort drive away - Mycenae, Epidavros, Tiryns, Corinth etc.
Nearby Nafplio is a cosmopolitan coastal town with good shopping and cafes, and lots of places to eat out.
