Property description
We are offering our vacation villa for rental as of April 1st 2010. The spaceous villa is offered as a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa (sleeps 6). Located in the prestigeous Burnt Store Marina, it's on the eastern shore of Charlotte Harbor halfway between Punta Gorda and Cape Coral.
The villa is a minute's walk away from Florida's deepest marina with all it's sailing and boat chartering opportunities. Relax completely or have a very active vacation in the ambiance of this special gated community. Visit the www.burntstoremarina.com for more fascinating details about the marina. As kayakers, this is heaven. Charlotte Harbor is environmentally protected and kayaking is thus a dream. We golf or play tennis in the morning and kayak or fish in the afternoon. At sunset we walk or bike along a paved path which goes around the marina and look out for the manatees or dolphins and then stop to watch the sun setting. Dinner is either at the the restaurant over-looking the water (live music sometimes) or at the golf club house. If we've caught dinner then it's prepared in our spaceous kitchen.

Additional information
We are the original owners and spend much of the winter in our special home, so it's ultra clean. With vaulted ceilings and a southern exposure you'll get lots of bright sunshine all day. The villa is surrounded by an expanse of lawn and flowering shrubs. Very private. There are 2 bikes available and a 1 car garage. You'll find everything you need in this home away from home.
Great beaches are all about an hours drive away. Daily ferries connect to the beach on Cayo Costa, which is an uninhabited island where one can camp or just spend the day shelling, sunning and relaxing. Just South of the marina is the charming island of Matlacha, where the artists and art lovers come together. Lots of colorful galleries and the award winning hamburger place "Berts Bar" not to mention all the seafood are found in Matlacha.
