Property description
Situated at one of the highest points of the old harbour of Spetses, the Mansion offers its visitors total relaxation in a traditionally restored setting, with a magnificent view of the old harbour, the Peloponnesian mountains, the Saronic Gulf and the nearby islands.
The two level Mansion is decorated in exquisite style and character, combining local Greek architecture & modern comfort features. All the rooms have been designed to allow natural light to filter through, and are tastefully decorated and furnished with antiques and traditional artwork. The each level can be rented independently.
THE ACCOMMODATION
The Upper level consists of:
Three bedrooms. A master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower bath, a single bedroom with a large fireplace and a sleeper-couch for that extra person, as well as a twin bedroom with a magnificent view over the sea, sharing a separate bathroom/wc.
A large newly refitted kitchen fully equipped (dish washing machine, electrical cooker & oven, microwave, fridge etc.) with a fireplace and a kitchen table (4-6 people) for breakfast or a light meal.
A hall including a traditionally Greek dining table for 4-6 people.
A spacious sun filled living room with a breathtaking sea view, including a dinning table for six, a sitting room, a piano, TV and a tuner/CD player.
A beautiful balcony with a panoramic view over the old Harbor and the Saronic Gulf. The balcony has a dining table for six and a bamboo-sitting salon.
Through the main upper entrance of the mansion, one walks through a traditional open air corridor covered with pergola, jasmine and bougainvillea, an orchard of lemons and fruits, and a terrace - an ideal place for children to play.
Peaceful and serene, this elegant setting with pergolas and lavish flowers make it ideal for a relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The lower level of the Mansion, consists of:
Three twin bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and shower, can sleep 6.
A fully fitted and fully equipped kitchen (American fridge/freezer, dish washing machine, washing machine, electrical cook and oven, microwave etc.)
A spacious living room, consisting of a dinning table for 6-8 people, a sitting room, and TV.
A very large pristine terrace, which includes a sitting area with a large couch and chairs, and a table for six.
A courtyard beautifully decorated with indigenous flowers and trees. The lower level has a main outside entrance directly to the terrace and a second through the courtyard.
The two separate and independent mansion levels communicate via a beautiful pebble-courtyard (a 200 year old mosaic), and a stair corridor adjoining the side of the house.
Ideal for families travelling with babies
The villa is fully equipped with everything necessary to care for a baby, and toys to keep young children entertained.
This means that you can travel light (no need to suffer the inconvenience of lugging bulky items like a travel cot with you), and you when you arrive, you know you are in a baby friendly environment - something every parent looking for a holiday with a baby dreams of!
When you enquire, please check what equipment is available, just to be on the safe-side if you depend on anything special.
You can also opt for a transfer to Spetses by helicopter if you want to be whisked from the airport to this island villa with minimum delay.

Rates details: THE MAID:
It is compulsory to use our maid for the household. If you book the whole villa, the maid will stay in one of the preselected (by you) bedrooms. If you rent only one of the two levels of the villa, she will reside in the other.
The cost is € 600 per week for the whole villa and € 400 per week for one of the two levels. She will work 8 hours a day, 6 days per week.
You can pre-determine the maid's working hours, according to your needs. In case you need her to work overtime, she will be paid extra (€ 8 per hour).
Her duties include breakfast, cooking, going to the supermarket/bakery etc, making beds, cleaning, washing your clothes and also ironing at an extra cost (€ 8 per hour).
If you have children, the maid can also baby-sit.
She is an excellent cook.
EXTRA COSTS:
Upon arrival, the water and electricity meters will be checked and on your departure date the cost of use will be charged proportionately. Water is charged € 2,5/m3 plus VAT 19% and electricity € 0,5/kWh plus VAT 19%.
Upon arrival, we also ask you for a deposit of € 1000 as a warranty for any breakages to be refunded on the day of departure.
Kindly note that all detergents and all other bathroom consumables are not included in the price.

The villa is situated by the old harbour of Spetses, just metres from the sea.
Everything you may need is very close to our house:
- sea 20 meters
- closest beach 6 minutes by foot
- taverns 4 minutes by foot
- supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, grocery store, 2 minutes by foot
- the centre 15 minutes by foot
