Property description
If you are with a large party but still need your own space you will be able to find peace of mind in the beautiful gardens with their countless little corners where you will find sweet smelling trees and flowers, terraces and verandas and poolside space. Both villas are decorated and furnished with imagination and care creating wonderfully comfortable interiors where you will feel relaxed and inspired. The kitchens are well equipped and one of the villas has a washing machine so all your needs are catered for. The two gardens are linked through a gate. The villa with the pool is partially covered with Bougainvillea and has one double and one twin bedroom and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub and the other villa has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. There is also a poolside room with two sets of bunk beds where four older children or teenagers can sleep.
The villa with the pool has front and back verandas and an exterior dining area and shady garden with sea views and the second villa has a front veranda and a garden with lemon and olive trees.
The English-speaking caretaker is available to do some cleaning, cooking and babysitting if requested in advance. Please enquire for rates.

Rates details: We require a deposit of 20% paid via PayPal in order to secure the booking while the balance is due to arrive no less than one month before your arrival.
A security deposit of 800 euros is required on arrival and will be returned provided no damage or breakages have been incurred during your stay.

These sumptuous villas are located in the historical area of Kastelli in Spetses, the higher area of town which was established as a safe haven during the period when pirates used to raid the island. The bars and restaurants are just down the hill but far enough away from this residential area to allow a peaceful stay. The walk down to the town where the shops, restaurants and town beaches are located takes about 5 minutes while the return trip takes about 5 to 10 minutes on foot and is mostly a gradual incline apart from one steeper section. The island itself is blessed with an abundance of pine trees and is mostly motor vehicle free having a policy which allows only commercial traffic and a handful of taxis plus motorcycles. Motorcycles and bicycles are available for hire. There are various beaches on the island to suit all tastes. The main town accommodates all your needs with some interesting shops and has a variety of tavernas and bars, both beach side and tucked away. The island was once very rich and powerful due to its involvement in ship building and shipping which gave rise to the construction of magnificent mansions which give the town a wonderful ambiance. It also played a significant part in the Greek Revolution when the Ottomans were finally ousted after a rule of approximately 400 years. You can see the historical shipyard which was first established about 2,000 years ago at the old harbour. The island also has two small museums. The island is known for its paved streets which use black and white pebbles to create designs and pictures. Spetses is so close to the mainland that you have the opportunity to visit the mainland and the other Saronic Islands by water taxi, catamaran or hydrofoil.
