Property description
Sunny and really nicely furnished 2 bedroom part-airconditioned apartment with a private balcony plus very spacious private roof terrace! As you can see, the property is superb - a real 'home from home'. The lounge features air-conditioning (reversible as heating for the winter) + ceiling fans as well as two comfortable sofas (one 3 seater, one 2 seater), coffee table, plants, lamps, side table and pictures. For the winter months there is also a large rug and heater.
For your entertainment, there is a wall unit containing CD/Hi Fi/Radio system, 28" LCD TV (with some UK terrestrial and Satellite channels), a DVD plus an excellent selection of paperback books for your use during your stay and a full length mirror.
The sunny and air-conditioned dining area features a dining table and four chairs with sliding patio doors leading out to a private balcony.
The modern kitchen features washing machine, oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, extractor fan, coffee machine, kettle and toaster as well as an iron and ironing board, plus an excellent selection of crockery and utensils.
From the lounge, the private balcony (with stairs leading up to the private roof terrace) is lit at night and furnished with table and 2 chairs - perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening!
This lovely apartment has a fantastic rooftop sun terrace which is fully furnished with 4 sun loungers, 2 parasols, 2 side tables, plus dining table and 4 chairs and receives the warm Alicante sun all day round, perfect for that Mediterranean tan! The sun terrace is also lit at night. There is also a BBQ - just perfect for those 'al fresco' meals and a sunbed for every guest.
The master bedroom features a double bed, shelving, chest of drawers, double built in wardrobe, bedside cabinets, pictures, mirror and lamps plus both ceiling fan and a stand alone fan for the summer. There is also a thoughtfully provided hairdryer to save on your packing! For winter lets there are two rugs and an electric wall-mounted panel heater.
The comfortable second bedroom has twin beds, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, lamp, mirror and pictures plus double built in wardrobe, a ceiling fan and a stand alone fan for your comfort in the summer months. For winter lets there is a rug and an electric wall-mounted panel heater.
The bathroom contains bath (with shower over), WC and basin with mirror above, as well as modern chrome fittings and an electric wall-mounted heater for winter lets.
A choice of three (resident's only) swimming pools are close by - the nearest being less than 20 metres away. In addition, this lovely apartment is within easy walking distance of a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants - a great family holiday property! Plus this super apartment is only a 3 minute drive downhill to the beautiful sand-duned beach! A bus and land train service is also available.

Gran Alacant, where our holiday apartments is situated, is a mainly residential area and therefore perfect for families - just a few miles south of the vibrant and beautiful city of Alicante and just to the north of the traditional Spanish seaside town of Santa Pola. Nestling in the hills above Alicante Bay, there are stunning views across to the city and the castle of Santa Barbara and northwards to the Crevillente mountains.
The few miles distance to the airport make Gran Alacant a particularly good place to stay as you can be in your holiday rental accomodation in less than an hour from landing and, because Gran Alacant is not on the flight path, there is no aircraft noise.
Gran Alacant is a mixture of villas, townhouses and apartments on a number of different Urbanisations, all with access to swimming pools. The area is quite cosmopolitan with an interesting mixture of nationalities – mainly Spanish, British and Scandinavian own property here – yet has a typical Spanish feel. This mixture is reflected in the bars and restaurants in the area. Spanish run tapas bars, fish restaurants and pizzerias mix happily with British owned bars and restaurants.
Gran Alacant has plenty to offer those looking for a relaxing holiday and also those looking for something a bit more active. With easy access to Alicante city and the excellent motorway network, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Less than 40 minutes by car is the exciting Terra Mitica theme park just outside Benidorm. Also for children at Benidorm is the superb water park Aqualandia which is next to Mundomar sea life centre.
Gran Alacant has six good quality supermarkets and all less than 5 minutes drive from our holiday rental properties. As you would expect Gran Alacant also has pharmacies, banks (all with cash machines), panaderias (bakers), heladerias (ice cream parlours), a video/DVD rental shop, internet cafés, hairdressers, nail bar, petrol station and car/scooter rental agencies.
Night life in Gran Alacant is low key with the emphasis on good food and good wine with more than 80 bars and restaurants to choose from. From simple snacks to the various menu del dias as well as superb Indian, Italian, Japanese and Chinese food - every taste is well and truly catered for, and at good prices as well!
Nearby Santa Pola has a good selection of restaurants from simple tapas bars to the highly recommended Batiste by the quayside. Nearby, Alicante has numerous bars, restaurants and night clubs catering for its cosmopolitan clientele
Close to Gran Alacant and just five minutes by car, is the typically Spanish resort of Los Arenales del Sol. Facing onto miles of sand duned beaches, cleaned each day, Los Arenales is a popular weekend destination for people from Alicante and families from all over Spain have holiday homes here. In the resort are plenty of bars and restaurants, some with superb views of the sea and Alicante on the other side of the bay. During the spring and summer water sports of all types are available from the beach. For beach lovers, a lazy day at Los Arenales is highly recommended.
For walkers there are a number of clearly marked trails in the Nature Park that surrounds Gran Alacant. Birdwatchers will also enjoy following the trails as there are many species to be seen at all times of the year. A little further afield there is excellent walking near the Santa Pola lighthouse whose light can be seen most evenings from Gran Alacant.
Gran Alacant is a superb choice for basing your stay on Spain's glorious Costa Blanca. We have an excellent choice of competitively priced, privately owned apartments, villas and townhouses for rental, all located close to swimming pools and within walking distance of a range of bars and restaurants. The immediate area has plenty offer the holidaymaker and is twenty minutes from all the attractions of the stylish city of Alicante. One of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca is on your doorstep and all the facilities you need are close at hand.
