Property description
Carvoeiro is probably the prettiest town in the Algarve. It has earned a reputation for being both unpretentious and cosmopolitan. This charming small town offers several beaches, two of the finest golf courses in Europe (Pinto & Gramacho) both within a 10 minute drive from the apartment, and a 9-hole golf course, Vale do Milho, a 5 minute drive. There are excellent tennis clubs, horseriding, water sports as well as an exceptional variety of restaurants.
For the family there are 2 water parks, Slide and Splash and Aqualand, and Zoomarine Theme Park all within a 20 minute drive from the apartment.
Faro airport is a 45 min drive away, and the city of Lisbon is a 2 hr drive.
Pedra Mansa is a quiet private holiday resort of 8 luxury apartments set in beautifully landscaped gardens with large swimming pool, sundeck and outdoor shower, just a short 5 minute walk from Praia de Centeanes, Carvoeiro's most popular beach and within walking distance of the town centre with its wide choice of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants.We are 20 min drive to the fabulous new Formula 1 race track. This superb apartment is located on the 1st floor. There are private balconies off the living room and both of the bedrooms.There is a fully fitted kitchen. Towels for the bathroom are provided. The spacious living room has a woodburning stove for winter use, Sat TV, and CD Stereo. A special feature is the large private roof terrace with barbeque and superb views of the Monchique Mountains and the Vale do Milho Golfcourse. Mini Market, gym and tennis is also available at the adjacent Rocha Brava complex. The complex is on the local bus route but is only a 20 minute walk into Carvoeiro Village. We ask that you bring your own beach towels. If you wish to holiday with another family, we may be able to arrange the rental of another apartment of the same high standard in Pedra Mansa.
