The historic castles of Bonaguil and Biron are within a short drive. The Cro-Magnon prehistoric caves & the longest underground river of Europe (boat trip available)are both "incontournables". Quaint middle age villages, rated in the top five "prettiest of France, including St. Cirq la Poppie, Sarlat, Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, etc. are all within a two-hours' drive. Wonderful regional cooking not to be missed at nearby restaurants as well as the "best Peking soup and spring rolls in Aquitaine"
