The Mockingbird Cottage
Property description
We are Tyler's oldest B&B, and the closest lodging facility to historic downtown Tyler. An 1859 Tyler Historic Landmark, the Manor is a restored Queen Anne Victorian home. The house is set back on a large corner lot surrounded by brick streets and many mature shade trees. There is a covered jacuzzi in the relaxing Rear Garden along with a koi pond, gazebo, wishing well, and large back deck. The main house has original oak and heart-of-pine wood floors, wood moulding, and gorgeous stained-glass windows.
All 7 rooms have private baths, some featuring claw-foot tubs. Additional features in some rooms include king or queen-size beds, fireplaces, private balconies or porches. One of the rooms is a private carriage house for that home-away-from-home feeling. A delicious full country breakfast is served daily on china, crystal and silver in the formal dining room.
The Woldert-Spence Manor is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, or any special occasion! Also ask about our whole house rate for family reunions, retreats or group getaways.
