This architecturally designed home was custom built and sleeps eight in three bedrooms with two and one-half baths - all brand spanking new. And, it is located on Indian Beach - one of the most sought after locations on Galveston's West End. Quite simply, it is a fabulous beach front home for exclusive guests.
The beauty of our home comes from the warm architectural details of the home which were inspired and borrowed from the old raised Gulf Coast cottages -simple, southern elegance, a spacious traditional floor plan, high ceilings, wide pine floors and a big porch. It features floor to ceiling windows and french doors with unobstructed views of the Gulf and/or the Bay at every turn. There are no better views of the Gulf of Mexico than from this spectacular home.
The twelve foot ceilings offer an open and inviting interior space on the main floor in the living room with fireplace, kitchen, master king size bedroom and full bath with double sinks, powder bath and utility room. The interior gallery is the heart of this home with soaring ceilings and plenty of room for family and friends to gather and to come and go. Abundant windows upstairs combine with the pitch of the standing-seam metal roof and gables for a real coastal feeling. On the second floor, two spacious bedrooms (one with four twins nestled in the dormer windows and one with two twins) share a full bath with double sinks.
The interior furnishings and dazzling array of artwork and antiques are exquisite. A deep beach side front porch runs the length of the home and is spacious enough for lounging and dining - it is a natural extension of the home.
There is a private boardwalk on the property which takes you over the sand dune to a pristine stretch of uncrowded beach with no vehicular access. Within walking distance for our guests are tennis courts, a swimming pool and Bay access for fishing, crabbing and kayaking. Guest privileges can be arranged at the nearby country club for golf and dining.
We provide every amenity to make your stay an enjoyable one as we want you to enjoy our home and Galveston as much as we do.
Indian Beach maintains an extremely quiet family atmosphere for the peaceful enjoyment of our neighbors and guests. Therefore, we will rent only to families. If you are not with a family group, you must be a responsible adults over the age of 25 to make a reservation. The maximum number of guests is eight. Pets of any kind and smoking are expressly forbidden.
So come relax to the sound of the ocean, the smell of fresh air and enjoy the view. After all, this is Galveston where the living is easy.
