Welcome to Lakeside Promise,
Sunrise Lake, Middleton NH
Our peaceful retreat is only 100 miles north of Boston. It is the perfect home for a romantic getaway or an intimate family gathering. Spend some time alone with those you love. This is the perfect setting to escape the pressures of everyday life and simply rest and relax.
What will you like best about our home? It's hard to tell. Maybe the Master Suite with its King size bed, remote controlled fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, massaging shower, walk-in closet and French doors that walk out onto a mahogany sunbathing porch. Though you might prefer a more social sitting area. The living room with its Cherry hardwood floors, comfy couches, fireplace, cable big-screen TV, and plentiful windows is perfect for catching up on old times or viewing the latest blockbuster. For those who love to cook and those who love to dine, the eat-in kitchen is more than sufficient for even the grandest of feasts. We have what we believe you will need, a refrigerator with icemaker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, full settings and cookery, and plenty of counter space. Sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner in a spacious inviting atmosphere. Or maybe you are the playful type, if so the game room might be your favorite. Down stairs is the perfect space for breaking out a cribbage board or building a 1000-piece puzzle. There are also plenty of books and toys to keep the little ones occupied for hours. My personal favorite is the loft bedroom that looks down on the rest of the home, but also looks out the huge bay window onto the sandy beach cove and serene Sunrise Lake. With any luck I'll spot a loon skimming the surface.

So when should you come and visit Lakeside Promise? Any time! There is no better place than New England for fall foliage. So why not take the canoe out on the lake and experience it from out on the water. Maybe you like to shop in the fall, you know, get a head start on that holiday shopping. New Hampshire is tax-free and outlets are plentiful. And if antiques are your passion you have come to the right place! Our favorite town to visit anytime of year is Wolfeboro, just 10 miles to the center; it is our neighboring town to the north. It is a cultural center for shopping, dining, music, museums and last but not least BOATING! Do you like snow, no? Than don’t come to NH in the winter. It is cold and once the snow shows up in early November it doesn’t like to leave anytime soon. So bundle up and get out there and ski, skate, snowshoe, sled, and build a snowman family. You must earn that hot cup of Coco. We are one hour from downhill skiing, Gunstock in Gilmanton and King Pine in Ossipee. Both are highly recommended family oriented mountains that are tons of fun to experience. Are you a snowmobiler? Park your snowmobile in our heated cement-floored garage while you are not using them. And when you are using them, zip over the lake, cross the street, and jump on NH state trails that are clearing marked and maintained for safe use. Springtime is the season fishermen begin to flock for the lakes and streams. Many derbies are held for all talent levels and ages in NH Lake Region, wouldn’t that be fun to try? Our boys are two and already know the techniques, can you tell my husband likes to fish? Summer, what better time to escape those hot city streets and come up north to the country. The calendars start filling up by late May with fireworks displays, summer concerts, theatre groups, cruises, craft fairs, antique fairs, farmers markets, town-wide flea markets, celebrations of all kinds.
