Tucked away in Newstead, the oldest continually inhabited village in Scotland, 'The Steading' offers quality and tranquillity in an enviable location, backed by the famous River Tweed and fronted with wonderful views of the Eildon Hills. It's difficult to believe you are only a stones throw away from the ancient settlement of Trimontium.
The bustling town of Melrose is less than a mile away, where you will find an abundance of specialised shops, first class eateries and of course, the beautiful ruined Abbey.
