Property description
In the heart of Elwood’s quiet leafy streets, this enchanting apartment in a small boutique deco building is delightful.
Close to St Kilda (2min), the City (15min), beach & shops, private entry, polished boards, thoughtfully appointed, clean crisp linen and towels provided. Nightly and weekly rates.
The Studio Loft belongs to two local musicians. The bright open space with beautiful first floor aspect is inspiring both for making music, and relaxing back on holiday.
A grand piano, art-deco features, polished floorboards and modern amenities make this a wonderful place to stay.
The 1 bedroom apartment has it's own private entry on the ground floor leading past the deco entry up to a first floor landing which opens out to the large living room.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with quality fresh linen, and a good choice of pillows, blankets and quilts all of natural fibres.
While the Studio is aimed at singles and couples, a fold-out single bed (not suitable for adults) is available for a small extra p/n charge if required. A porta-cot is available free of charge. Any other associated items - please ask.
We will try to accommodate any requests you have to make your stay exceptionally good. Please ask!
Shelves are filled with interesting books from the owner's interet in classical and jazz music, history, politics and biographies.
The fully-equipped kitchen (gas stove, electric oven, microwave etc) means you can stay in and cook for yourself or company, or leaf through the array of take-away food brochures or go for a short stroll to great restaurants and cafes in Elwood village.
The beach is close (500m), and beach towels are included for your stay.
Public transport is just a block away, the bus taking you the short journey either to St Kilda or the Sandringham train line which can whisk you quickly to the city.
Have a car? The Studio has off-street parking space.
If you are arriving from the airport - a taxi ride is about $70
The airport bus can pick-up/drop-off 500m from the Studio at Jerry's Milk Bar
Train/Bus/Tram: Local station is Elsternwick on the Sandringham line. A bus runs directly from the station, very close to the Studio only 2km away.

Generally we are only able to accept bookings less than 10 nights, but we try to accomodate requests when possible.
