Though simple and modest, our “home away from home” is filled with favorites from family and friends: Sissy’s glasses, Granny’s do-dads, Gigi’s tables, Aunt Liz’s handmade beds, Aunt Kay’s indigenous cabinet, Cousin Ellenanne’s creations, Libby’s leftovers and Aunt Lell’s perky personality while outside bloom Nancy and Uncle Pete’s roses.
Our cottage is 200 yards from Lake Summit and Camps Greystone, Mondamin and Green Cove. It is 5 miles from Flat Rock, 8 from Hendersonville, and 30 minutes from Asheville.
There are 2 bedrooms
One with a king bed
One with a trundle (2 twin beds)
A sleeper sofa in the den sleeps one more
The bathroom is located just outside the doors of both bedrooms and has a walk-in shower.
A quiet, conveniently-located and comfortable cottage we can't wait to share with you.

Rates details: In-Season is April - October
Off-Season is November - March
In-Season: $625 per week / $125 per night (2 night minimum)/ $1,800 per month
Off-Season: $500 per week / $85 per night (2 night minimum)/ $1,450 per month
Plus associated fees: $60 cleaning fee per visit
Deposit: $300 at time of booking and refunded following your visit
Full Payment: Due 2 weeks prior to arrival
Rental Week: Check In: Saturday @ 3PM Check Out: Saturday @ 10AM

Located a few hundred feet from Lake Summit where there is hiking, swimming and sight seeing.
Between Zirconia and Ashville there are many special places - the Flat Rock Playhouse, historic home of Carl Sandburg, the Blue Ridge Parkway and much more.
Western Carolina is home to one of the largest artist guilds in the United States.
