The lakes eg Tinaroo, Barrine, Eacham, Millaa Millaa Falls & the waterfall circuit, Curtain fig tree, Hastie swamp bird wetlands, Mareeba Tropical Wetland, Mango winery, Award winning fruit Liquor Distillery and Coffee plantations and tastings. There are also beautiful scenic drives through the area. There is a wonderful timber gallery in Tolga and lots of craft shops as well as great restaurants serving fresh locally produced products. Try Malanda Gourmet Food Factory or Mungalli Creek boutique cheese factory & teahouse for a delicious lunch, morning or afternoon tea.
Lake Tinaroo offers world record barramundi fishing and boat hire is available or you can charter a boat with driver/guide.
Canoe hire is available and there are personalised tours of Lake Tinaroo. Lake Barrine
offers cruises on the lake.
