Licuala Lodge is an award winning four star accommodation set in the quiet town of Mission Beach in World Heritage rainforest. Guest accommodation - all ensuite - is separate to the main house, with verandah overlooking lush tropical gardens. We have a fabulous waterfall swimming pool with beach entry. We serve the yummiest brekky in all Queensland, and included in the tariff are complimentary drinks - tea, coffee, soft drinks and BEER - How good is that !!

Mission Beach is the closest mainland point to the Great Barrier Reef. Several operators go to the Reef on a daily basis - ideal for both snorkellers and scuba divers.
White water Rafting is done on the nearby Tully river - a great day out.
Sky Dive from 14,000 feet and land on the beach - wow !!
Sea kayaking is available - the guide is renown for her extensive knowledge of the rainforest and the ocean.
