Barbados is an independent island nation in the western Atlantic Ocean, just to the east of the Caribbean Sea in the Southern Caribbean region. Low–lying island is composed predominantly of limestone-coral. The climate is tropical and seems to be nice all year round. In January the temperatures reach 28°C (83° F) and in July 23°C (74°F).
